Manny is a one-off the man defys logic in every sense of the word he shouldnt of beat De La Hoya but he destroyed him granted he was weight drained. He absolutely destroyed Hatton. This man is almost superhuman the way he has carried his power and speed with him through the weight classes its just amazing.

He has simply kept improving and diversified his style. He has a much greater tool box in the ring today than say just 2 years ago !

Cats can't resist shittin on Pac when he comes up big. he was a stylistic foil to Hatton imo, but that was still a gr8 win for him.

What I don't understand is, after anyone crushes a fighter can't you just say, "he was a good style matchup."

It's never made sense to me when people say, "Trinidad and Pavlik were made for Hopkins," Well if they were, why aren't you a rich man from betting on it. And furthermore, if an accomplished fighter like Hatton is made for you, doesn't that mean you should get a huge amount of credit? You're so good it's easy for you to beat a tough fighter, that makes you a great fighter.

It's weird, because people dismiss fights like Pac-Hatton and Pac De La Hoya, and they criticize him for having a tremendous struggle against the great Marquez but still winning.

What type of win should you get credit for?

See, this is the thing I don't understand. I agree that JMM beating Diaz was a great win, but if he blew him out in two rounds would it be less of a win? Could you have then just said, "Diaz is sloppy with no defense, he was perfect for JMM?"

I mean, Hatton is far more accomplished than Diaz, is far bigger, and Pac just ripped through him in two rounds. Would it really have been more impressive to you if Pac had lost the first half of the fight like JMM did? That just seems strange to me.

I know. I'm asking you a hypothetical. If JMM had knocked out Diaz in two rounds how would that have changed your perception?

If Pac had struggled, losing most of the early portion of the fight, before scoring a late KO over Hatton how would your opinion have changed?

I'm genuinely curious and interested, as this seems to be a philisophical difference that quite a few people have.

I think you should lay off for a while coz you have no credibility whatsoever. All you have is the unknown, the what ifs, the buts. Of course you can say the last 3 fights were favorable to him. He beat all of them convincingly. Too bad you hate his fans therefore you hate him.

The following couple weeks, if not months, will be agonizing for you, until Pac fights again.

In the meantime, enjoy the ride.

I think "decked" actually means "knocked down" or "floored".

    As in "Hit the deck".
