    Both!

He has defied logic and he has pick the perfect opponents . . . after all any fighter doesn't have beat everybody to become the top fighter.

You can't beat them all! :deal

OK....and "getting KO'd" to me, means winning a split decision...

Getting "decked" has ONE meaning in boxing, and it's NOT what you think.

hmm says... no he does not defy logic nor has he picked perfect opponents... He is the ideal fighter who: 1) trains hard 2) gives 100% 3) is disciplined to traing/trainer's instructions 3) does what he is told in the ring 4) makes the most of every opportunity to achieve greatness 5) smart enough to not make himself look like an asshat in and outside the ring 6) etc. 7) etc... basically we can list a whole shiet load of reasons.. we all know his qualities that make him a great fighter and why he is where he is at...it's pretty logical

the only thing he defies are the odds. ie. his life story.

So you think a fight like Hearns-Duran or Hagler-Hearns or Jones-Griffin II are less meaningful or convincing than they would be if they had gone the distance?

in boxing terminology, getting "decked" means getting KD'd, floored, dropped, etc. it doesn't correspomd to being KO'd, beat up, dominated, etc.
