Getting "decked" has ONE meaning in boxing, and it's NOT what you think.

He is the ideal fighter who: 1) trains hard 2) gives 100% 3) is disciplined to traing/trainer's instructions 3) does what he is told in the ring 4) makes the most of every opportunity to achieve greatness 5) smart enough to not make himself look like an asshat in and outside the ring 6) etc. 7) etc... basically we can list a whole shiet load of reasons.. we all know his qualities that make him a great fighter and why he is where he is at...it's pretty logical

the only thing he defies are the odds. ie. his life story.
