Does Pacquiao deserve a showcase fight?

Pacquiao took the shots from Cotto very well I was surprised. He was banged up a little but not too bad. He had 2 showcase fights against Hoya and Hatton, were he took no punishment. Before that, Diaz was like a sparring session.

I think he is ready for a big fight with Floyd, he needs to take a good rest then clear his mind and focus on Floyd. It's going to be very interesting to see how Pac reacts to Floyds brash taunts, insults, and mind games.

 

Valero is already walking on thin ice, he's got metal sheets in his skull, putting him in against pac where he would be a lot more vulnerable than cotto due to lack of skills would subject him to a painful beating. if he don't get KOd early, the head punches that will accumulate could kill him

 

Pac will not opt for tune-up fight. He'll fight 2 more fights then retire That's his plan in giving consideration to his health. He's been on so many wars. He'll might not enjoy long & healthy living if he continued for longer years.

 

Mayweather is the showcase. Mosley is the real fight.

im sorry, but any other fights in between these two fighting only slow momentum at this point.

No fight has been wanted more then this fight since i dont know when, mayweather coming off a white wash of JMM and Pac destroying Cotto....

neather needs a showcase fight at this point.

 

Floyd will be Pac's showcase fight.

 

I think the hype train is at full speed right now, honestly. Pacquiao doesn't to fight on for much longer anyway. I just want Pacquiao/Mayweather asap and then the winner vs. Mosley.
