If not, is it because Pacquiao is simply exposing the "crude" fighter that everybody says Valero is or because Pacquiao is beating up a blown-up featherweight, the same way he beat up blown-up bantamweights at 130?
He'll get perhaps too much credit for it by his fans, but haters will likewise degrade it by the same extent.
Why should he? Pacquiao is not a technically elite boxer by any stretch but he still puts Valero to shame in that department. Valero's only strength is his power, and honestly, if a top notch fighter were to be caught with one of his wide, undisciplined swings and taken out, that would seriously put their status into question. He is just far too unskilled to compete at the top level, it's ridiculous that anyone thinks he carries any kind of elite potential. Hell, his power isn't even really proven yet. Pacquiao will take this guy out within a few rounds in impressive fashion, as he should be expected to. I don't see how it enhances his legacy in any way.
'Cos Pacquiao's been stopped twice before (admittedly it was early on in his career) and by lesser punchers than Valero. I'm not saying I EXPECT Valero to get the win, but I'm saying it's not out of the question & I don't consider it a given that he'll beat Valero.
Nice subliminal at killing anything Pac has ever accomplished...lol A win over Valero is a win like any other.
The man got credited as being the best P4P fighter in the world based on his victory over Diaz. What do you think?
Awful logic. Pacquiao was severely weight-drained early on in his career at Flyweight, which made him a physically weaker fighter, especially in the chin department. Not to mention he wasn't half as skilled as he is now. To be frank, Pacquiao was pretty much skill-less at Flyweight, though he was still probably better than someone like Valero because he at least punched straight and was a better athlete, even if he relied purely on his straight left. Comparing the smaller, weaker, less experienced, weight-drained, far less skilled Pacquiao of Flyweight to the Pacquiao of today is ridiculous. Not to mention Singsurat was a better fighter than Valero.
I'd give him credit for taking a high-risk, stay busy fight that people would like to watch seeing as how Valero seems to carry a lot of power, but it would not enhance his legacy or ATG status one bit..
But he's undefeated with a 100% kayo percentage!!!!!!!!! :happy :happy :happy :happy :happy :happy :happy :happy :happy :hammertime :hammertime :hammertime :hammertime :hammertime :hammertime :hammertime :hammertime :boogie :boogie :boogie :boogie :boogie :boogie :boogie :boogie :boogie :bananamaniac :bananamaniac :bananamaniac :bananamaniac :bananamaniac :bananamaniac :bananamaniac :bananamaniac arty arty arty arty arty arty arty
