Of course. If the fight is close or has lots of swing rounds, manny can and will get the nod , he most likely will out work, out throw floyd, not to mention the crowd will go crazy for every punch pac lands. And they want the rematch so...

It was all a front. The Pacquiao fans were banking on the fight never coming to fruition so they could continue with their "Floyd is a coward/Pacquaio would beat him".

But now that the fight is actually taking place they realize their goose is cooked and have to face the music - Pacquiao will be beaten. No more hiding behind hypotheticals and pumping the Floyd is ducking narrative.

If the fight never happened they could have harped on about how Pacquiao would've won until the end of time, but they won't be able to argue reality when Floyd wins.

    Thats the shame of it.
I think Floyd has been amazing through most of his career (I dont like catchweight fights) and deserves massiv credit.
A time when I felt Floyd should have got far more credit than is mentioned is when he fought Judah after Baldimor.
It was an upset when Baldomir beat Zab and fighters who werent mentioning going up to WW to fight Zab were mentioning wanting to fight Baldomir.
Floyd could have ignored that fight but went on to defend against Judah.

I would also add that Pacquiao deserves credit for his career for similar reasons.

In answer to the thread. Yes Pac has a chance and a very good one. I favour Floyd but wouldnt count Pac out.

I do think Floyd/Pac will be a bit of a hesitant fight with neither wanting to commit too much and dont think it will be overly exciting but still looking forward to it

so much BS from many posters ih here. IF Floyd beats Pac fair then all creds to him.
but thing is i dont think he will, Floyd has to turn into an offensive fighter to beat him which wont happen, we will see old Floyd who wont gamble by changing a "winning" concept into something untested before..
Pac KO or convincing UD.. and thankfully we won't see any more Floyd after this fight

FMJ loves when fighters come to him......Pacs own agression will be his undoing and he will be methodically taken apart , possibly stopped if he lunges in reckless over and over again.

I have said it for years, Pac cant box for shid, if he cant overwhelm his opponents he is in a world of trouble and he aint overwhelming FMJ be cause you need a strong jab with size to do that and Pac aint got none of that.

Man if you Floyd fans REALLY felt this way...why do you guys make threads like this 20 times a day...Us Pac fans see it as being worried looking for reinsurance!

you might want to rethink that. pacquiao won't let mayweather dictate the pace, i don't think. pacquiao will set the pace.. he, and he alone, has the skills to do it. floyd better fight or get ktfo. :deal you all know damn good and well that pacquiao is coming out like hagler A1

A very small majority. The "official poll" thread on this forum had it 257-247 earlier today (give or take 10, I forget, but I commented the numbers in the thread at the time).

This thread is pretty bogus though. Of course Pacquiao has a chance to win. Not sure what "small chance" is defined by, but I give him a decent shot.

Definitely the best chance of anyone Floyd has ever faced.

Floyd will get on his bike no later than round 6. There I said it! Floyd was scared of Pacquiao before and even more scared now. He only wanted the fight for the money and was forced by the fans and media. I can't wait for May 2.
