No. This is a common misconception amongst the naysayer. For an example, look at how he fought Hatton...he barely came forward the entire time. He basically allowed Hatton to self destruct - come forward and run into punch after punch. Even the final shot was a case of Hatton walking right into a left hook....

...he fought Cotto and Margarito in completely different ways than Hatton, and each other. I'm on a cell now, so I cba to explain, but I'm sure someone else will....

I have to go back and watch his fights, but if I remember right, he played the role of a 'boxer' against Hoya -- using constant movement, turning him, darting in with a quick shot or two and sidestepping/weaving back out. It was a surprisingly patient, measured approach for someone like Pac, even though Hoya was nowhere near his best days.

He also displayed some nice countering skills against Hatton...rather than coming forward and slugging, he timed Hatton coming in and hit him with compact, crisp shots. The knockdown in the first round actually looked like a Floyd move -- lead-hook counter and neatly slip the follow-up shot. Very clean and polished. (I'm betting Roach specifically worked on that move after seeing Floyd deck Hatton with that 'check hook'.)

Pac's favourite style is to come forward and brawl, though. He simply loves to fight, so he's eager for exchanges and toe-to-toe style action. He can still box when he has to, but he's at his best when he's against an opponent who is willing to stand his ground and engage. He does have difficulty when faced with constant movement and defence, but his persistence and gifts normally get him through that.

Watch the cotto fight and tell me he can only fight one way. He can box, move, counter punch, potshot, slug... The only tihng he can't do all that well is in-fighting, but that's not his game anyway.

He is not very versatile if thats what u mean..

Watch round 2 of mosley-mayweather to see what versatility is..

Watch mayweather-baldomir, then watch mayweather-de la hoya and then watch mayweather-ortiz-

you will see what a versatile fighter can do...

Anybody who actually "practices drills in camp" on what to do when hurt, is pretty versatile..

    Pac fights one way...

This is what I find funny about you. You say Pac fights more than one way, but then you say Floyd only fights one way. Don't deny it, because I can bring up the post and probably find more than one when you said that

If Pacquiao does so, then what? He has still beat the the **** out of his bigger opponents who were big name fighters since 3-4 years ago.:D:D:D
