No, beating someone much younger, fitter, quicker, who was much closer to his best, is not the same as facing that same fighter years and years later when said fighter is older, slower, and years past his best. I mean, are you saying that a fighter who could have beaten prime Mike Tyson, terrifying monster Mike Tyson, the beast he was in his prime, would have anywhere near as much kudos as a fighter beating him today would have? Or when he was long past his best but still active? No, of course not. One would have been an incredible feat, the other much less so. Circumstances, context, are important.
Well done 90s internet troll calling someone a girl and comparing to a homosexual, and thinking that wins rounds on an anonymous public forum in 2021, all the while failing to dismiss my suggestion of Pac choosing Spence post-near fatal car crash, not pre-ICU, which of course is factual truth. B... b... b... you a lesbian ho, b*, what do you know?
Fact: Pac chose Thurman post injury, Spence post-crash, Broner post-jail, Matthysse post-KO. Fiction: Bone yous a weak ho, b* haha, I'm so man, lol smiley smiley hahahaha.
Oh wow thx, I like to be compared to JMM, who took a page out of Pac's book, um 'bulked up' to a division he physically didn't belong and fed him his own medicine. This content is protected Remember? Well, Pac doesn't.
Killer KO. But Pac rose from the dead and authored a second ATG-worthy run. Truly unprecedented stuff. You on the other hand had the berries between your legs removed, Ellen! Phase 1 of your transition.
I'm saying that by the time Floyd Mayweather fought Manny Pacquiao, Pacquiao had declined form his prime so much, and came into the fight so injured that no merit accrued to Floyd Mayweather at all.
To answer the original question, yes, Pac has always said the same thing to GGG, that is they are "slow". Or more accurately, slower than him. Whenever Pac is interviewed, he goes back to the Margarito and ODLH fights, saying that he beat them both through his speed. When asked to explain, he would say that he can get in his punch faster than those opponents can and to some extent, he can evade some of their punches. He also refers to the Thurman fights saying that Thurman punches hard and he was able to take those punches. He believes that Thurman punches harder than Spence. And he is actually correct in this, but Pac probably forgets that Spence can be disciplined for 12 rounds digging into his body. Only JMM has been that consistent in hitting Pac to the body and it paid off in the 4th fight (I'm referring to the KD, not the KO. JMM faked a punch to the body then went up to the head instead). Spence IS slower than Pac and he does move in straight lines and Pac can definitely put him on a shell whenever he wants to. But one thing that Pac underrates is Spence's defensive responsibility. Spence can bang when he wants to but he remains defensively responsible. Pac will get his moments for sure but I think Spence will be responsible enough to not open too much to Pac that he'd be at a disadvantage during those exchanges.
