Err... Pacquiao is actually on the other side of the globe. You don't expect reaction from him that fast, even the Philippine media weren't so hot about Floyd's sentence postponement.

Plus Pacquiao must drop the lawsuit before Floyd will start negotiating. Floyd fans left that out for their convenience.

The scene revealed that Floyd need more time to prep for Pacquiao. They said they're not sure If Pacquiao will agree to all of their demands. That make Pacquiao a slim possibility this May 5th.

OSDT is no longer an issue but demands will keep on pouring.

It's pathetic that a supposed politician can be so easily controlled by Bob Arum. Imagine if he was actually in charge of his country? The government would be pawns to big business

I don't get the impression either really want the fight. Lots of what we think we know is just speculation, but all the obstacles both teams are putting up seem too convenient

Team Pacquiao wasn't really keen on Floyd this May they looking for that fight on November, but the tide shifted when Floyd's sentencing was postponed. But that happened on friday.

Apparently Floyd team already has shortlisted name this May 5th. Pacquiao can't cut it unless he drop the lawsuit.

Pacman as a politician is pathetic to begin with. But realistically on the business point of view, Pacman won't be able handle the details of his boxing career on his own.

His on the other side of the globe for crying out loud.

So now your making qualifications as to what press conferences are only for? Press conferences are for making any sort of big announcement. But damn, look at you getting stuck on press conferences and once again missing the big picture. Anytime a boxer is on a huge platform where millions of people can hear him and calls out someone is an example, ie Hatton calling out Floyd after the Castillo fight. It doesn't even have to be a press conference, just any public medium where you can manipulate public pressure. Once again I'm spelling out the logic for you, if Floyd REALLY wanted Pac why not use that stage of their big announcement as an opportunity to corner Pac into May 5th? You know why not? Because they already had somebody lined up for that date.

When you are a super star Money Pac, the fighters beneath him OUGHT TO make a press conference to call out him. If true, then its a good move by Joy Jr, shows he is giving public announcements to Pacs greatness, that he has to go to such extents. But more than likely just part of his duck circus, like I wrote in another thread... this guy had no intention of fighting Pac, just another dirty trick in no skill having ass bag. Trying to smear the repetition of a great man and a great promotion company, that without, boxing would suffer severely... Top Rank.

Isnt interesting, how when Mayweather was with Top Rank, he fought all top guys and was great, but when he left Top rank the class of his opponents SEVERELY declined??? :deal

This is the sort of bull**** I'm talking about though. What's a defamation lawsuit to Floyd? He's not going to prison for it. If Floyd is so confident of winning then beating Pac in the ring is worth losing 100 lawsuits to him. I'm fed up of both of these rich primadonna fighters not willing to make concessions to make this fight happen. I don't care who wins I just want to see it so everyone can move on and we have a clear best p4p fighter with a big legacy win. If it's Floyd, fine. If it's Pac, fine. I just can't be bothered with the bull**** :bart

You gotta ask the question. Why was Team Pacquiao not keen on fighting Mayweather in May? What's the excuse?

The cut excuse is pure bull****. Arum JUST dreamed up this temporary mythical stadium idea.

He should tell Bob Arum he'll fight Floyd or nobody. That's not difficult

I already had the hunch when Team Maywheather mentioned "Cinco De Mayo" that it won't be Pacman.

Dude, I'm getting sick of this. Do you know how many articles and stories were online when the May 5th date was scheduled and they said they wanted "the lil guy"? :patsch

What the **** is your malfunction that you don't understand, that more people have seen this through digital media already than would have seen it through a press conference. How many people saw the press conference Sergio Martinez just had? Other than boxing writers that wrote the same articles of the May 5th call out date. It doesn't make a bit of ****ing difference.

I bet you didn't say **** when Wlad made the youtube video calling out Haye. So why the **** is it not good enough for Mayweather?? It's the 21st century dude. Catch up with the times.
