What are you like a city planner? You act like that's an open and shut scenario. I'm sure they'll have professionals who would know how to stage such an event.

What's pathetic about it? Just the match-up itself is historic. It's been building up for two years. Cynicism man, it's not a good look for anyone. Get off it.

    Cynicism? Really?

The pathetic part is that you are grasping at straws to legitimize Bob Arum's excuses about some mythical stadium off the strip in Vegas, that's supposed to add another 20,000 seats...

No one is denying the historical aspect of this fight. Which is why everyone has rightfully begun to get pissed at Arum for placing needless roadblocks, and pissed at Pacturds for enabling it by sucking up all the excuses.

They do have professionals... and those professionals have staged huge events there.... and those professionals continue to use the cost-effective, convenient, lucrative means of stagng historic events... Put them in the casinos on the strip...

You really think Arum is some magical genius who thought of this temporary stadium that no one in Vegas ever thought of doing for all the Tyson fights?

I'm grasping at straws? Bob already staged a stadium fight with Pac...twice. So right off the bat, there's precedence. Oh let me guess, you think Floyd was really gunning for Pac at May 5th? Man get a clue, they already had somebody else lined up. But don't get your panties all wet, the fight will be made likely in November. So if Bob wants to make it a stadium fight, I say great. A historic fight deserves a grander stage.

BTW---Why do you have a Vick avatar if you went to the "U". You should know the Hokies first started our decade long bitchslapping dominance over the "U" when we had Vick under center.

No I'm sure he's not a genius, although he is a Harvard grad...and he does have 40 years experience promoting fights. I'm sure he knows a lil something something about staging huge boxing events. So pardon me, if I give him the benefit of the doubt when he says he wants a bigger stage for this fight.

Child please... Vick was 1-1 vs. Miami.

And since Vick has been there VT leads the series 7-5. No Championships in that time period, by the way....

Now back to your ridiculous Arum nuthuggery... Arum staged a fight in the new Texas Stadium that was already built. He didn't magically pull a mythical stadium out his ass and place it away from the casinos and money on the strip in Vegas... So no.. there is no precedence... Completely different situations.

don't forget...he got a site fee for that, whereas building a stadium would require cash going the other way

Pardon me if I'm giving the City of Vegas planners the benefit of the doubt. You know, those people who have staged huge fights in their city for their entire careers? Those people who know how to maximize the profits in their own city and county?

You're just giving Arum the benefit of the doubt simply because it fits your agenda, because frankly, we all know that his past experience means **** when you take his credibility into consideration.

Yes. I do hold Floyd under the same criteria. There is bullshitting on both sides.

Oh no you diii-int jus oh child me. It's not the quantity, it's the quality of the butt-kicking. Well this year's game must've been particularly painful. My point is Miami's just not quite the same since then.

And damn, why is it Bob arum nuthuggery? You're argument seems to be that him wanting to have a stadium fight is some sort of roadblock. However, I'm yet to hear any viable reason as to why it is. I think the problem is you're fixated on May 5th....it's not gonna happen. And yeah sure there's infrastructural problems he may encounter building something in Vegas but that doesn't mean he's ducking Floyd and it doesn't mean it cannot be done. If we can agree that Bob's all about making money then it stands to reason there's no way he doesn't want to have that fight made. Having a stadium built has nothing to do with it. And that's just from Arum's side, rest assured that both Floyd and Manny wants that fight made and the probable rematches to follow. They'd be stupid not to.

If pacs cut is ready to go by early may (no excuses if its not) then the fight should be made of course, pac should tell arum where to go if he disagrees, this saga is just going beyond a joke, let the two divas biithch slap each other and get it over with

We will not engage in this and support it. From what we are concerned, Manny Pacquiao has a boss, and his name is Bob Arum," said Schaefer.

    ...............
there has never been any doubt that Pac wants this fight.

Pac also sent this certain member of Team Pacquiao to pay Floyd a visit. Everybody should know by now what Floyd told to this certain member of Team Pacquiao.
