Does Pacs refusal to submit to a drug test make you suspicious?

Does Pacs refusal to submit to a drug test near the actual event make you suspicious that he is using illegal performance enhancers?

Pac comes across as an honourable and honest person but given that we no longer live in the dark ages where spirits and unatural forces supposedly control our fate, surely he must be aware that removing an insignificant amount of blood is scientifically proven to have no adverse physical impact. Most other athletes must put aside silly superstitions, why cant he? I'm not saying that he is using steroids, but if he has nothing to hide why not just dispel rumours and suspicions. If this is a mindgame by the Mayweathers, Pacs refusal to submit to a drugtest plays into their hands.

Not at all. I wouldn't want to lose blood hours before the fight, no way. Whether its mental or physical it could affect you, its just not right. Fighters already put their bodies through hell, they are finely tuned machines you can't be taking blood out right before a fight.

They should agree to do it a week, 2 weeks before the fight or after the fight.

No, I understand freddie roach's concerns...Different people react differently to having your blood takin out....it's a legit concern by roach...

If manny refused to have his blood drawn 1-2 weeks before the fight, then I would be suspecious...I think manny is clean to provin otherwise....

he didn't refuse to take the drug test

and even if he did, it wouldn't

If I were in his shoes, I would say "Test me after, or not at all"

It's all just hype. Fight will happen and Mayweather will win a boring decision.

Exactly and the mental game in this sport is VERY important. Pacquiao already agreed to the test. What's going to be there 3 days before a fight that wasn't there a week before?

Uhm, no. They want him to take a random test which could be anywhere up to the day before the fight but certainly in the last week. I can understand why they don't want that possibility where it could be a day or two before the fight.

Nothing is going to be there a week out that isn't there just before the fight. Common sense will hopefully prevail and they'll agree to a sensible time to take the test. Personally I'd take it after the fight and that will erase all doubts. There is no way in hell they're gonna have a guy juicing and then found out after the event.

That a bull **** ****ing excuse, the amount of blood they would take from pac is hardly enough to effect his performance.

The floyd camp is asking for 6 weeks before the fight and test right afterwards.

oh hell no!!! performance enhancers could be taken while in training camp allowing pac to recuperate faster then normal. By the time Pac weighs in for the fight the drug could be out of system.
