I am not suspicious. If he was on steroids or enhancement of some sort he would still be at risk for it showing up and that would risk his reputation. I believe it is about the blood test and how it would affect him psychologically. Emanual Steward used to think having a hair cut on the day of a fight hurt Hearns in previous fights- so for Leonard in 1989 he didn't have Hearns get a haircut like he normally did. Maybe Pacman thinks if you take blood out of him near the fight or closer to the fight that it will affect his bodies rhythm or will make the body chemically out of wack in a bad way and hurt him in the fight. It is not very logical really, but psychologically if he believes taking blood from him would make a difference, it could affect him in the fight.

roach already reasoned out to why they dont want the test before the fight..

so how can you be suspicious of someone if he's willing to take the test right after the fight?.

why do people make threads saying pac is refusing the drug test? he was not refusing it. he was refusing the olympic style test demanded by floyd. pac is willing and always willing to have a drug test, not just 2 days before a fight. this is totally reasonable. it was floyd pulling out of the fight that is not reasonable. i suspect that he wans to duck pac.

People are giving Floyd way too much credit. I don't think he so advanced in his ducking abilities that he was capable to have predicted that something like a drug test would cause the fight to egt canceled. How people are finding ways to blame this on Floyd is dumbfounding. And I have never been mistaken for a Floyd fan.

Everyone wants to ask why isn't it acceptable the way manny proposed, or claim he agreed to be tested just not to the standard floyd wants. How is it logical to argue that the testing is too strict? For one both fighters will be subject to the same test and honestly all future fights should be as well. Two, there should not be resticitons, adjustments made to the American Anti-doping agencies standard testing procedure for Manny. This is the same testing all olympic athletes endure and is the most effective way to test. The reason this style of testing is neccesary, not just becasue floyd requested it, but because it has been proven that the urine testing the state commission does is unable to detect certain drugs. Manny's refusal doesn't prove his guilt but raises doubt about his innocence.

Give it up pit, they refuse to see that its all about timing and not the test itself. Its really simple you take a test 30 days out, once or twice over the rest of the days leading into the fight then right after. Its not that demanding. Pac camp isnt really refusing the test, they are refusing the timing of the test, which for a reasonable person it would make you wonder WHY??:huh

Yes and they would like to use testing in which a league like the NFL, MLB and NBA dont REALLY want they guys to test anyways. It hurts thier brand every time a guy comes back dirty. What people dont know is that the NFL and NBA gives heads up as to when they will be doing tests. Why do you think that so few NFL players who we all know are on the juice never get caught. The NFL has the biggest guys of all yet the fewer that get caught juicing. Its like saying I want to be a safer driver then going out and buying the most dangerous car you can find.

WTF are you talking about, they already agreed to those demands, they're asking to not get a blood test 2 days before the fight.
