First off, I was totally wrong about Manny Pacquiao. Before last night I thought he wasnt a fully fledged 140lb fighter and that Hatton would send him crashing back down to the lower weights. Manny took on the best 140lb fighter and dominated him. This wasnt a punching bag Diaz or DLH, this was a legitimate threat and Pac was awsome.

So no more Pac threads from me, except the occasional dig at Ph|LLA, just to keep him in check.

My question is, does Pac's win over the bigger man give Marquez hope against Mayweather ? (Slap in the face for whoever says Oh but Mayweather isnt Hatton!)

Many people overestimated Hatton, I can't see why. Many of us did expect this outcome because the knockout Hatton had from Mayweather was brutal and showed bad signs. Hatton eating repeated left hooks at the hands of Lazcano (and at one point being dropped but the ref did not count it as a kd) should me Hatton was gonna taste canvas again. The only thing with me was how quickly he was knocked out. I expected it to go as long as Mayweather fight. Anyway, yes, it brings the Mayweather fight into perspective when it comes to Marquez' power but it also brings a potential Mayweather/Pac fight even more into perspective in that Manny is the biggest threat to Mayweather and perfect foil to his style.

NO! JMM is not PAC....he's good and will do well in spots but it will be a clear Win for Floyd.
