Does Pascal have what it takes to last 12 rounds with Froch?

I agree Froch sucks, but well, he has chin and power. Obviously enough to beat most of the guys out there. An elite fighter will most likely have a walk in the park with him, but Pascal isnt elite.

I agree that chin and power, dedication, hard-work, self-confidence and will to win can take you a long way in pro boxing. After all, this is the hurt business, not a dancing contest.

I want to believe you but do you speak as a fan or as an objective "analyst", or both?

If Pascal keeps his composure and that chin tucked in he will win on the outside,if not he will get KTFO

No. Pascal will be fighting away from home (for which he deserves kudo's) and I think that will have a huge eefect on him. Froch will not dissapoint his hometown. I pick him to stop Pascal in 4. Pascal may have a huge speed advantage but he will get caught at some point and that will be the end of him. All in all, it's a good fight, but for these 2 to be fighting for the vacant WBC belt, is mindboggling. This will be the biggest step up in class for both of them and that's not saying a whole lot.

Yeah, but fortunately, the winner will be required to fight Taylor next, if he gets past Lacy. Whoever comes out on top of these three is a deserved beltholder, I think.

He'd have to do this for 12 full rounds to get out alive, it seems. Froch is the kind of fighter who can afford to take risks to deliver a big punch and he will test Pascal all night. Since Pascal is not thought to have a very good chin, will he able to keep on his toes for 12 full rounds, with Froch putting pressure and taking big risks?:think

Froch should win this one,he carries more power and he`s beaten better names than this Pascal lad.Its a WBC title fight so i don`t expect Froch to ko him,it be a late stoppage or ud by him i think. One thing is for sure,Frochs career has never been built on hype.

Well that's good then. If we're really lucky. The the winner of Kessler/Haussler will fight the winner of Bute/Andrade. Here's to hoping.:hat
