Does Pascal have what it takes to last 12 rounds with Froch?

Yep, things are heating up. Maybe Abraham and Pavlik will enter the scene before too long aswel.

i think he can do it for 12 rounds, froch in the fights i've seen has not really impressed me, his slow, his defence is extremely poor and i think his power is overrated, and him and his handlers must be worried about something,to take this long into his career to fight somebody with atleast half a pulse:bbb

should be an interesting fight tho

Kessler vs Bute maybe, but don't think there'd be much mileage in Kessler vs Andrade two, given the one sided result the first time.

Reason its taken Froch so long to get in with someone serious was he fu***d his knee pretty badly then Inkin pulled out twice at the last minute. Hes been waiting along time to get here and i think hes gonna take it out on Pascal. Aslong as he keeps his head he should stop Pascal mid-late rounds.

Even if Froch wins...he'll be dealt with very quickly within the division ! He's another limited fighter like Miranda and Mayorga...Let's not forget that before hyping him after the Pascal fight if he wins the WBC belt !!

I hate Carl Froch, but to see people question the quality of his opponents whilst saying nothing about the company Pascal has been mixing in... *cough* Come on, without even getting into a debate on Froch's skill level, you have to admit that - on paper - it looks heavily stacked in his favour.

[Come on, Pascal! You can do it, son! :thumbsup]

I dojn't hate Froch but I agree that on paper everything is in favor of Froch, but Pascal has the skills that can pull him the victory

I know what you're saying, but how many times do we see impressive speed/skills in a fighter's previous fights, only to see those skills nullified when it comes to their next fight?

It's all relative, so his skills might have looked decent against Pittman or Ikeke, but how will they look against Froch (who - I hate to say it - is extremely mentally strong and will most likely find a way to impose his gameplan on Pascal)?

Not forgetting that Froch ain't so bad a fighter himself...

PS. Having said all that, I've got a nagging feeling about all the next major British fights - what price a treble on Froch, Calzaghe and Hatton all losing? :think

Both fighters are untested. neither of them has fought someone remotely close to the top10. Both fighters will be fighting their best opponent ever on Dec. 6th.

It's the unit used in the measurement of pressure

or the guy Carl Froch will probably knock out to win the WBC Super-Middleweight belt.

i thought kingsley outboxed pascal pretty clearly... close fight but i felt ikeke won more rounds than pascal did ....and as tall as he is kingsley is no master boxer or slickster.

this is a good fight i just have no confidence in pascal he just seems so contempt to fight in a unimaginitive manner.

froch as open as he is, has a decent chin and has a great uppercut. i feel he can take out pascal in one shot than the other way round.

i dunno if pascal could of stopped reid.

Pascal can box and I think it would take someone with similar boxing ability to take Pascal out....Sure Froch has power but can he box as well??
