Does Paul 'The Punisher' Williams make it into the Boxing Hall Of Fame?

I'm being that guy now. Let's be real here, he haven't really done something that special he has failed his biggest tests, he has won fights wich he shouldn't have won and just beacuse you become paralyzed from the waist down and are a good guy doesn't make you HoF worthy.

He comes up way short.

 

Yeah maybe he could have gone on and done amazing things who knows really. Massive respect for the guy and hope he recovers well.

 

Hard to say. I dont want to say yes because of these horrible circumstances. I dont want to say no because he could have done more in the ring, cause he gave it every thing he can. Im always taken Back to Barry McGuigan. Does Paul get into the IBHOF? I cant see why he wouldnt based on Barrys credentials.

 

I hope Williams can make a decent enough recovery - Used to love watching his fights.

 

Floyd...come on, man. You're either going to get a yes based on sentimentality of the moment or a no, causing people to state the logical case against this poor guy laying in a hospital bed. This is the wrong thread at the worst possible time you could make it.

My vote has nothing to do with his recent tragedy.

It is based on his career work. Just not enough to merit HoF status at this point. I am so sorry to hear what has happened to him and I hope he makes it as best he can through this time in his life. Godspeed, PW.
