Even if RJJ is the next fight, and JC wins... I believe he will still take a Pavlik Fight. He will get too much critism for fighting two old, out of prime fighters..I still believe they are impressive wins though. But a win over Pavlik would be the most impressive way to end his career.
Like I said earlier, you have your right to your opinions, but I'll be "drop ****in dead-heart attack" surprised if it ends the same as that **** did. Lacy had to go life and death with ****in Manfredo.:deal
Yes, but that's the only way. If Miranda wins, Miranda will then probably vacate the title and move up to 168. Pavlik won't want to fight some bum for the vacant IBF. Unless that bum is Wright. Sturm is a joke and the laughing stock of the world. Basically, If Miranda beats Abraham, Pavlik will be viewed as ABSOLUTELY undisputed.
based upon observations of both fighters (prime v prime), I definetly have to say pavlik seems to have more power in his shots than bernard. But that is about all he has over him.
To be fair that was after Calzaghe battered him from pillar to post and after a career threatening injury, rust was always going to be a problem.
They are both aggressive, come forward punchers with Lacy having the edge in terms of one-punch power. Not that quick on their feet, their hands aren't too fast Neither care too much about defense Solid chins Though I'd say Pavlik's jab is definitely better and his workrate is too, obviously.
I think Pavlik pisses all over Lacy. But did Lacy get the kind of hype back then that Pavlik gets now?
Never said Lacy was ****, and i certainly dont think Pavlik is ****. i just said they have similar styles - and simlar starts to their championship careers. Either way Joe beats him.
So in your opinion, Lacy would UD 12 the much improved Jermain Taylor that Pavlik did? Pavlik has better defense than most people like to see. He picks of shots with his arms like a damn ninja. Just because he doesn't hinge at the waist and bend in half all the time doesn't mean he sucks at D. Pavlik's hands are faster than people give him credit for too. Manny Steward said himself, "he was a lot faster than we thought!". Fair play on the jab and work rate comments. Pavlik fairly UD'd JT over 12 rounds, something BHOP couldn't do in 24.
