Or is he just trying to get in Floyd's head?

Yes, he sees something. But whether his fighter fan actually execute what he wants done, is another matter. Because Brother Nazim saw something, too.

Of course he see's something. Why would go out of his way to train Cotto for 11 weeks, watch many fights of Mayweather Jr. and just come in to pick up a pay check? This is very stupid question. We'll all just have to see if he can execute it.

Pedro has suggested he sees a very specific ch1nk in Floyd's armor. What do you think it is?

Exactly what we saw in the fight. In the lead-up he said Shane will spot a small window of opportunity, and will have a limited time to take advantage of it before Floyd turns into a fire-breathing dragon.

But what Nazim saw won't be the exact same thing Diaz is seeing. Different strategies for two completely different fighters with different strengths. But like most occasions, we'll probably never know what Diaz is referring to if Cotto isn't able to demonstrate it.

He was right. That window of opportunity was in round 2.

I believe he trained Cotto to employ a combination of what Oscar did and Castillo did. One of the first things is a good consistent jab(which Oscar used) and intelligent pressure with a high workrate(Which Castillo used) Now I know people keep bringing up Nazim Richardson having a blueprint but you also need the right fighter, with the right tools for it to work. Shane Mosely was always speed bralwer but he never developed into a well balanced out fighter and he always had trouble with techincal fighters.(and also add to the fact that his speed wasn't the same anymore, which wasn't good for his chances in their fight) Not the case with Cotto, who actually does better against boxers trying to box him and move away from him as proven in his fights with Mosley, Judah, and Foreman. Diaz knows this and what he did was improve certain things like Cotto's stamina, punchout put, and his speed to get the job done.(they've been talking about it, so I expect that come sat. night) Whether it works or not, I believe he'll be the first fighter since Jose Luis Castillo to push mayweather to the limit for the whole 12 rounds. Either way, Cotto is ready and he won't leave anything back in this fight. I can't wait to see this fight because i've always wanted to see these 2 fight and Cotto says he's better NOW, than he was in 08. The truth will come out when the bell rings.

Now what would be dope would be if all these great trainers had some kind of congregation to piece together all the blueprints they had and forge something solid

Every trainer sees something that he thinks he can exploit.

As much money as he's making and the level he's at, he better.
