Lets say Povetkin beats David Price this weekend. Do you think Povetkin then deserves shot against Joshua more than Wilder? Atleast Povetkin is willing to go fight in the UK to make his name at there, while Wilder avoids 7Million payday to fight Whyte in UK. Wilder also demans 50/50 payday against Joshua, even his fanbase is about 1/20 of Joshuas fanbase. Povetkin brings the money, he has Russian billionaires behind him. Povetkin has been undefeated for 5 years and beaten tons of good names Takam, Perez, Wach, Hammer, Charr, etc. He also KO'd Duhaupas more quickly than Wilder.
Povetkin as mandatory, Wilder as a unification fight. Both deserve the fight equally. I wouldnt say one deserves it more than the other based on how much money they brought to the fight cuz thats for them to worry about im just a fan i only look at it from the sporting side of it. But Wilder is a far bigger fight financially than Povetkin, Wilder is THE biggest money fight to make right now in the division and it still has room to grow.
If Pov gets by Price he'll have earned his shot the hard way, and would or should be no1 for all the belts IF he comes through
how on earth is wilder the bigger fight? NO ONE IN AMERICA EVEN KNOWS WHO WILDER IS. nor do they know any other hw. the average american cannot name one single active boxer.
