Wladimir was when he first pulled out of the fight with him? 32. Wlad was 51-3, a two time unified real world champion. Not a "regular" world champion but two of the real titles. :good Enjoy that belt, Slappy. You own it at the cost of your self respect. ;)

I agree. He needs to have a couple more warm up fights against guys that'll rock him in the twelfth round before he's ready for a Klitschko. No need to rush the kid. He's only been a pro for the last seven years.

Does Wlad get separate belts everytime he beats a WBA world champion or do they magically merge into the super belt he holds?

Ironic considering Povetkin had beaten Byrd, Chambers and a few other notable names by only his 16th fight. No doubt Povetkin is a protected fighter, yet his resume as a whole is not bad at all, actually probably the third best resume in the division. His strategy is obviously to wait till Vitali retires and Wlad declines, that's when they will likely make this fight and it will probably be on HBO as a megafight.

That's what I believe too. He made his way to a Klitschko title fight very quickly in 2008 winning the IBF tournament , but he couldn't beat Wlad. So this is his tactics
pS About the Huck fight this is a good analysis

:-( Why do you need to hate? He was willing to fight Volo. His people box-blocked him, bro.

I can't argue with that. It's a poor situation, because, really, he is the outstanding challenger by rights and by the fights. He's been out there. He has earned it more than anyone of the guys that have been challenging. Yet, there he sits. Broken-hearted. He tried to challenge...but he...only...Well, anyway. It is what it is.
