Does Povetkin's stock rise with Chamber's victory?

    Yes and no.

Chambers is a good fighter. A lot of top 10 wins at this point.

However, Povetkin, even though he beat Chambers, didn't look so great in doing so.

But I believe they are both quality HW's and both deserve a title shot to any of the champs.

Yes! Povetkin is looking like gold now that Chambers has utterly dominated and beaten Dmitrienko. Povetkin can claim to have won a decisive victory over a legitimate top ten contender in Chambers.

Povetkin had some trouble with Chambers early on, but over the long stretch, Povetkin beat Chambers handily.

no. no fighter gets credit or a rise in stock from a fighter they already defeated beating another fighter. to get a rise in your own personal stock you beat that fighter again that is so called improved. and make the fight when the times call for it.

so may think wow you beat him!! but he beat all those guys but so you must be better than everyone he has ever beaten.

but the reality of it is we know better and that he has beaten chamber who may have made changes since the fight and has improved to the point to where he could probably beat him now.

No Chambers is not all that good. He just fought a big chinless bum today. Povetkin is a human punching bad. He will be brain dead soon.
