Does Price have the worst chin ever?

No, he certainly does not. If you've watched heavyweight boxing for more than a couple of years and actually tuned into the talent coming through the division at any given time, there's been plenty of fighters with comparable or even worse chins than Price.

Yeah, hee hah, I can hardly believe it myself considering what a big hilarious joke Price is to all of us... ******s.

 

He has the worst chin I’ve ever seen

 

Price and Povetkin stole the show last night. Yeah slagging Price is funny but he deserves respect for going out on his shield last night and ALMOST rising to the occasion. Getting off the canvas to badly stun Povetkin. As fan of the guy I've made jokes and have laughed at the ones others have made about him and his career. But enough is enough... The guy gives a spirited performance and deserves credit.

 

It's up there, no question. Certainly among the worst chins in the HW division in recent memory. Herbie Hide probably took a better shot!

 

He got up from a very good shot and gave it a go, sadly if he's to continue I hope he stays at British level.

 

I honestly don’t think he has a bad chin. He gets hit solid ... someone with a horrible chin goes down from glancing or soft punches. He has terrible defense, he gasses badly (not vs. Povetkin but it didn’t go that long) and he hyperventalates and freezes, but I don’t think physically his lack of punch resistance is at an all-time level.

 

He needs to retire there is something wrong with him. His brain shuts off too easily when hit now. A sign of damage. Povetkin can punch but that first shot he hit him with before the final knockdown. Wasn’t even a great shot and it **** Price’s lights off.

Amir Khan has the worst ever chin, everybody knows that. All the shots Price has been knocked down by have been by huge 17 stone heavyweights than can punch.
Khan was getting regularly dropped by feather fisted featherweights like Willie Limond, Craig Watson, Rashid Drilzane, Michael Gomez.

 

For me yes, since I started watching boxing nobody has a worse chin. No one can argue Khan because of the Maidana fight. Price has never withstood an onslaught like that so his is far worse.

I'd like him to get a few wins before calling it a day. But yeah British level he should stay at. Maybe feasting Cornish, Howe and a few others before taking one more risk against someone like Dubois. Not convinced in Dubois durability or class past British level. Price would be a good test for him.

His cardio is exceptionally bad. There are worse chins.

Michael Bennett definitely had a worse chin. He was a highly regarded am (Olympian) but went 10-4 in the pros with four stoppage loses to tomato cans.

 

Pretty much my sentiments, while his chin is poor, a lot of his problems come mentally as well.

He gave a good account of himself and got off the deck to score a KD, nothing to be ashamed of.

 

If he was a little more fluid and could use his power more he would be a much better fighter.
