Does Price have the worst chin ever?

For sure. It was a bad style match up for him really. Povetkin throws a lot of hooks to the head and body. Price's jab is just not good enough, or his defence, to keep it long. His chin would last longer if he could jab and move properly, but you can see the power he carries. Three of the four guy's who've stopped him were also knocked down, which is pretty rare.

 

Aside from his commendable effort last night it looks as if Price meets all the necessary criteria from the ESB natives to garner this level of sympathy and accolades for essentially being KOd. Must be nice to have that kind of support and privilege.

Lol Povetkin was on PED for years. That is why he had power. A clearn Povetkin isn't a big punch. Just ask Marco Huck.

 

Hard to put Price ahead of Roy Jones, who has gone on to be spectacularly KO'd across 3 different continents.

 

Kirkland vs Ishida was the single worst display of glass jaw by a top fighter in a single fight. You cannot fault Amir Khan for his all round glass jawiness of course. Amir Khan is still probably the benchmark for the disgraceful mandible.

 

Taking the Thompson rematch and stepping in against Povetkin are gutsier moves than what some champions have gone through in recent years. He deserves respect even thought that chin would get him in trouble even playing football.

 

Floyd Patterson got knocked down every other match. He's probably worse.

I can't believe I'm saying this in regards to Price but his recovery was second to none after taking that left hook.

 

Roy Jones, Enzo Mac, Khan, Price, all are up there.

 

Anyone remember Herbie Hide? As far as just fighters UK heavyweights he was substantially worse than Price. We NEVER saw Hide take a single good whack in his entire career as far as I know, he was knocked out by literal nobodies because he simply could not take a shot. Price has been beaten by other heavyweight contenders.

I would argue the Ding a Ling Man taking out the extremely hyped and knockout padded David Rodriguez years ago now was way more brutal and embarrassing than anything Price has ever suffered.

 

Khan is #1 bar none.
Price is probably the worse HW chin I have ever seen.
