Price would never have beaten Fury. Price got the skills but lacks the toughness, Fury has both.

Price vs Wilder, whoever lands big first wins. Fury beats both

I always had Fury beating Price long before he was exposed last night for the very same reasons you have clearly stated.

Price is so one dimensional its almost comical.

What I'd like to know is why he doesn't use his jab? he puts it out there but it's as if he's swatting flies.
He needs a complete overhaul, any half decent counter puncher is going to ruin him if he doesn't have one.
Pawing jab followed by the right hand ... every ****ing time!

Fury is next in line to get found out just like Price. Unlikely to happen against the elderly losing-streak CW he's facing next though.

I always fancied Fury to win a UD, now the idea of a KO creeps into mind.

And Fury won't get beat by anyone outside of the Klits and possibly Pulev, **** off with all this Wilder ****, even Harrison would have him.

Price just has not moved on or developed technically and he leaves that shakey mandible hung out to dry way too often for my liking. For the whole of the second round, Thompson was stalking and telegraphing the counter over the top and he still did not bring his hand up and adjust to it...severe lack of ring IQ aswell.

Even before the KO it was clear that Thompson was no soft fight. He was very composed and clever. He wasn't in there for a bombing session. He's a cultured enough fighter. Beside Thompson Price looked like a robot. Price's movement and fainting were basically that hand shuffling thing he does that you might see a circus fighter doing in the 1940's.

Price could have won if he didn't get caught but it would have been ugly and could well have gone 12.

Given how poor Price looked on stepping up along with the chin question being answered I would see Fury being a good favorite if they met.

As much as I used to rip Price for getting knocked down in the amateurs, I didn't think his chin would be that disgraceful. "Perforated eardrum" just doesn't cut it. Froch had his busted by Jermain Taylor when he got knocked down, and Mikkel Kessler (I think).

I think it's more about when Tyson goes in to third gear, lands a shot on Price's piece of wet toilet paper chin and makes him do the funky scarecrow.

no way Price beats Fury, he cant take a glancing blow, i dont care what everyone says about it being heavy weights anything can happen, he looked crap in there. if you had asked me before last night i would have gone for Price to really do a number on Fury. but then again as some would say that is heavy weight boxing

I'd still like to know outside of his power what Price actually does better than Fury? He's nowhere near as fluid, doesn't have the punch variety, doesn't use angles, never see him boxing from behind a jab ... Has about 2 different punches he throws over and over .. I'd even say Fury probably has the better gas tank.
