Usyk is much bigger and better than Spinks, and he wouldn’t crumble mentally. If you think Tyson knocks Usyk out in a round you should find another sport to watch and leave this one to the Guru
Cannot beat this board for comical value..... So a feather fisted old in the tooth career cruiser outboxes the over hyped and stiff as a board borderline glass chinned Bodybuilder with the Ring IQ of a house mouse.............the same Bodybuilder who spit his mouthpiece out and quit against a morbid obese Taco stand owner.......the same Bodybuilder who went life and death with the ghost of WK.....and his entire resume consists of washed up never were's... Michael Spinks accomplished a lot more at Heavy then Usyk when he faced Tyson, never hit the deck and was picked by many experts to give Mike a hard time.....................then and now most observers never realized what kind of a animal Tyson was with textbook technique in 87/88....................nobody since then has ever a fighter at Heavy rolled a world class undefeated top Champ like Spinks in 90 seconds Usyk is your basic eastern one two fighter, right jab straight left with no sauce behind, high work rate, good movement, good stamina and Ring IQ, not a lot of punch variety except the one two.................but he gets hit way too much and despite all the feints and movement is not hard to find. Usyk has nothing to keep Tyson off him, is not a clincher and is going to eat Tyson's straight right money punch, you can bank on it , combine that with viscous body punching and good nite Usyk, maybe not the first round but before the half way mark guaranteed......remember Spinks went down from a body punch first..... BTW, insert Tyson vs the old shot WK AJ faced and the Sanders /WK blow out would look competitive in comparison.
Spinks was damaged goods when he fought Tyson and just showed up for a payday. Usyk’s legs unlike Spinks are still good, so I don’t see Tyson beating him easily.
Ukranians are leading the way in fight tactics in training now, beating AJ at 31 is a better feat than beating Holmes at 35 and Cooney appeared past his prime and Spinks, Usyk has the power to knock out a 31 year old Spinks.
Usyk has a active guard and southpaw angles, he`s always moving, he move his head, his feet constantly making his opponent guess and keeping them off balance making his punches fast and unpredictable, he wouldn`t just stand in front of Tyson doing nothing like Spinks did.
I guess I didn't say what I meant (or what I understood that comment to mean). I didn't mean he just goes all out and punches himself out. He never had stamina issues. I meant that from the moment the fight starts, he's immediately trying for a knockout. No trying to feel out his opponent, no initial caution, just instant pressure. He was utterly relentless the first few rounds of every fight.
