Nope Parker is too well rounded and his chin is too solid.

Zhang is also too durable too big too skilled for Wilder.

I've almost always favoured Parker in this match up, the only time I had doubts and favoured Wilder was back in 2021 when he had lost to Whyte and hadn't made any changes to his team and was simply stagnating and looking awful in fights against the likes of Fa and then Chisora. Even back then in 2021 I thought it would be competitive and so did most on here as half the people back then on a poll picked Parker to win. But I should of never doubted him and had more faith and stuck with my initial prediction back in 2017 when they tried to unify which had always been that Parker on points due to his superior hand and foot speed and ability to back Wilder up because of this.

Zhang too I think beats any version of Wilder even in his prime. He's not like Helenius and Breazeale who only fight at range, so even when they backed up Wilder they stayed at Wilder's most dangerous range. When they got inside they just clinched Wilder. Zhang is a different big man he can fight at mid range and inside, unlike Helenius and Breazele or even Ortiz he doesn't just keep it long and stay in Wilders range he got up close and threw inside where Wilder is useless.

If you are a big heavyweight who stands off on Wilder, you are getting KO'ed unless you have the skills to dominate at range like Fury and even Fury found himself on the deck numerous times. But if you try and get inside then you can take away the right hand and work him over. It's why Joshua will always beat Wilder too, Joshua has always said he'd pressure and jump on Wilder even before Wilder lost to Fury, he sees that same weakness in Wilder and Joshua can fight at close and mid range.

I've no idea what fighter you were watching but it wasn't Deontay Wilder.

Wilder in his prime avoided everyone. Now we have thread about what if he fought so and so in his prime.

In a make belief matchup it is all about what you want to argue for. I am not trying to be an ass about it but at this point it is an argument about opinion.

What is funny is the guys that have beaten Wilder aren't prime either. Parker is very shop worn. Took a beating from Joyce that took a few years out of his boxing career. Zhang in his 40s already. That is reality.

The Wilder since before the Fury trilogy is well gone and won’t ever return. Normally Wilder was a loud and brash type of fighter who loved to hear himself speak, was always vocal and full of energy at face offs and weigh ins etc,now he is silent ! Come fight time Wilder was limited we do know that but he was a menace for every second of every round and had a foreboding ring presence that is also gone . Now he is finished as a top operator people all jump on the he was never no good blah blah blah bandwagon yet forget at one time he was the most feared Heavyweight fighter for a number of years in his era and also lauded as the hardest puncher ever (I never bought into this),Wilder could be out boxed for round after round and then boom (Ortiz Szpilka nearly Fury) and wipe out a points deficit with one punch. Fighters get old, fights catch up and also fighters simply are not what they once were it happens it’s boxing .Not many fighters at all retire before fading from grace it’s just the way Boxing is .
