according to teddy atlas's book, moorer was a drinker and
Chris Reid would drink all night, leave the bar without sleeping and go straight to the gym.

    1. After Cortez counts out Castillo
    2. The day after the Lazcano fight
    3. Prior to training for Urango fight

He was around 190lbs at the time of photo 3

It is also fair to say that prior to the public smoking ban enforced in mid 2007 he would have been passive smoking the equivalent of 10 a day - because he is in the boozer every night when not training, and always has been.

I know quite a few high profile ex champs were light drinkers and a small minority loved to drink an awful lot.. I always used to hang at after title fight parties and it was a trip to see ex or current champs with a mixer or a beer in their hand. Oliver McCall once drank the whole ballroom dry in the las vegas mirage after Lewis beat TNT Tucker. I remember Mike Nunn drinking and smoking , Mike Dokes drinking Cognac.. Alex Stewart having a sly beer or two. I once sawe Ike Ibeabuchi in Reno at a fight card drinking a bottle of wine to himself... i suppose after fights it wont hurt to have a couple of coronas , but know many do love to hit the alcahol hard... The 80's heavyweights sadly were into Coke , more than i like to elaborate on.. I know through an ex sparring partner of Tony Tubbs .. He spoke of (The Spinks brothers, Butch Lewis, Tony himself and Dokes all endulging and when the man i speak about refused to get his hands dirty he was removed from camp, he said there were female actresses there getting ****ed by fighters and it was a real free for all.. His name was Ernie Singleton , he said he wanted no part of that bull****.. the actresses i remember him mentioning were Jazz Vocallist Lena Horne, and that wild lady who starred in Jackie Brown.. (Pam Grier is it?) and Jill Ireland.. believe it or not.. This all comes from a very solid source...

Back in the day fighters smoked more than they do now, but most then or now enjoy a drink, some more frequently than others
Tyson got stoned and recently so did Sechew Powell
