How can I read your posts and not draw that conclusion? I clearly did not connect Robinson and Algieri whatsoever. Not one bit. You did with this above post. I quoted it and said: I say that I never did but that if you want to compare the two somehow, go for it. You then said that you "just did, pal." And then this is me telling you what you just said. --- I never compared them in any way whatsoever.
So by your definition of a "shared view" means a unanimous opinion? It was the consensus opinion. Obviously, it was split down the middle but more in Press Row saw it Provo's way. What can I say? You found it exciting. I didn't. And the beat goes on.
Agree. It seems split close to 50/50 on who everybody thought won. I too found it to be an exciting fight, albeit a relatively one sided one after the first round.

Link probably won't work. It was for a list of some press. 54% of select recorded press had it for Provodnikov according to this.
Look, pal, you led with this quote a couple pages back. Don't try to have a rational discussion when you throw this kind of **** out there. Just give it a rest and don't be such an arrogant *******. Yeah, like you know boxing like no one else. People disagree. That is why they express an opinion. Do you even know what a troll is? A troll is guy who comes in and basically blows up a thread by trying to draw attention to himself by making outrageous personal attacks. I never use personal innuendo UNLESS some flamer comes after me.
I don't know you. I don't know your forum name. I don't know your post history. I don't keep up with your agendas... I don't care. You made a troll statement. I told you how it made me feel. I almost cringed. But I didn't because I realized it was a troll statement. Then you try to do everything you can to put me down or whatever you were trying to do. I could care less.
Sorry, but the guy seems irrational. If he is a kid, OK, I understand. If not, then he is being a ****ing *******. Or he is a bit slow.
Consensus means "general agreement" or "majority of opinion." What, are we taking an English class now? Last I checked one more than half was a majority.
With a 50/50 split as the links posted this is not a consensus - there is no general agreement on the result of the bout. And as Provo was given a class in boxing so shall we have a class in English.
http://www.boxingnewsonline.net/lat...chris-algieri-say-54-per-cent-of-boxing-media Meanwhile, back at the boxing forum...
It was a close fight with Provos head hunting juxtaposed against Algeiri's boxing ability and heart. Could of gone either way. I thought Algeiri landed more punches, but Provo the power shots. But, after the first round, the power shots from Provo did not have the same impact.
Thanks for that link with a headline of 54% for Prov and 46% for Algieri. The complete opposite of your use of the term consensus. :deal
