Does Quintana have enough in the tank for one more big fight???

    Imo no. CQ is a good technical boxer. He has a good jab, good movement, but if you go at him, and force him to trade, he gets hurt with his lack of inside fighting skills. Berto isn't the attacking type, but he can be aggressive when he wants.

    CQ has to use his jab, a hard bodyshot, movement to his own right(or left nowadays), and big left hand down the pipe for the full 12 to beat Berto. It won't happen. Berto is just too fast.

    Lately, it seems that I haven't been watching southpaws move to their right anymore against orthodox fighters as southpaws will move to their left. This seems to be working also, and it shocks me a bit, but southpaws are getting away with it, and not getting hit clean by straight rights when the southpaw moves to his own left.

    Quintana showed superb movement against PW in their first fight. When PW and Cotto attacked, they caught CQ, and down he went. Berto can box, and he has speed which offsets movement.

    CQ won't give up without a fight, and he will show his old skill, but he just can't fight inside, and that's why I pick Berto to tko CQ in abou 9...

    also obviously carlos is experienced, but i think berto's speed will bother him. he wont fight berto on the inside liek collazo did

    or maybe after watching the fight, he'll attempt to take it to adre's body

    i can see how Quintana earned his shot... hes been very active...in the last 2 years he has had 3 fights

    TKO3 Jesse Feliciano 15 wins 7 losses 3 draws and (6 big knockouts)
    TKO4 Joshua Onyango 14 wins 15 losses
    KOby1 Paul Williams KO'd in round 1

    he earned the shot the new fashioned way...by just being there....

    What's funny is Quintana was the far better infighter. It was at his "ideal boxing range" that he got brutalized. :yep

    CQ was holding and hitting, and Berto complained too much. Neither can really fight inside really, but CQ just seems to have lost confidence. No committment to the jab, few straight lefts...he is now gunshy, and you can't be that way in boxing. CQ needs to think about his kids... I was off by a round in my prediction lol...

    he belongs at 154, no doubt. unofficially he was weighing 160 something, he looked gassed and legless after five rounds, and the snap on his punches were completetey gone after the first few rounds.
