Rahman seemed a little distant and bored during the press conference. He didn't appear very energetic but then again the man is 40 years old and probably doesn't easily get excited anymore. He didn't say much and just said he will come in the ring to knock Povetkin out and that's all he's going to say. Mkayyy.

The LAST TIME Rahman gave a **** about winning was during the first Lewis fight.

It was heavily rumored Rahman was juiced up and had loaded gloves. He and Don King did everything to cheat Lewis. Don wanted to punish Lennox because Lennox ****ed Don King up.

They made sure Lennox never got a good night's sleep and they made sure Lewis never got the meals he wanted. Rahman and Don King messed up Lennox's entire training camp. Everything was highly criminal. Bribes, attacks, night assaults. It is well known fact that Don even send in his own cronies, Lennox himself said 'I did not know the cook that was cooking for me during Rahman I. I had no idea who he was''.

After cheating Lewis, Rahman felt bad and wanted to prove to the world he can beat Lennox fair.

So he fought Lewis a 2nd time, this time Rahman took drug tests, did not bribe cooks, and there were no suspicious behaviors.

Sadly a Clean non cheating Rahman was destroyed by Lennox via one of the most brutal knock outs in HW History.

Only way Rahman can win against Povetkin is if he cheats.

If he comes in at 260 or more I'll be pulling for Povetin to put him in a coma

Cheating, loaded gloves? Sounds like your boy Tito if anything. And Rahman juicing? LOL. Too bad he was jacked his whole career until the last couple years when he got lazy and was just in bad shape.

C'mon man that's almost as bad as "Wlad was poisoned" and "Vitali's face was cut on Lewis's dreadlocks".

Am I the only one who looks forward to this fight. Povetkin's obviously going to win but Rahman hasn't been relevant in 10 years.

That's part of why I was thinking if he even gives a **** due to his demeanour at the press conference.

Do me a favor, message me if Rock loses this fight. Tell me I was wrong.

You all thinking he is fat & out of shape forget he carries the weight well. While slow & plodding - Povetkin is there to be hit. His defense is almosst as bad as Rahman and he has been wobbled by far less powerful opponents.

I sure to hell hope you are right, I hope Pov comes in as the same condition as when he fought Huck and gets floored by Hasim's Right.

I cant base his motive for this fight on a picture but his weight is up there but then again so is his age anything under 250 at 40 years old is good for Rahman. anything above that he gasses after three four rounds...
Huck had the speed advantage in there with Povetkin, rahman doesnt have the speed he did as a young man and even back then it wasnt that great of speed he is more of a double jabber followed by the right hand thats pretty much all he throws now and days.

with that said Povetkin will retain his title...

hasim has been either inactive, fighting cans, or getting humiliated vs wlad in the past near 5 years. he'd have to have tons of good sparring with descent hws to even get his timing and sharpness right to even compete with povetkin at this stage. this would be in addtion to getting his weight down and his endurance up. i'll root for him, but i'll expect the same sloppy plodding rahman we've seen since 2006 or so most likely. the only question that should be raised is how the heck the totally undeserving rahman is fighting the totally undeserving champion for a 'major' belt. i expect rahman to land one or two descent punches that will stun or hurt povetkin but will get pounded out in about 5-8 rounds
