rahman looked sloppy, heavy, and plodding about 4 years ago when he was winning relatively close fights with guys like sykes and lawrence. and i don't think he landed a meaningful punch vs wlad. granted, losing a lot of weight could help him, but now at 39 and having faced guys even far worse than journeymen like sykes and lawrence, it seems a stretch to think he's even gonna have even a good punchers chance in this. also, just saw he was 284 lbs when he kod galen brown. 284 lbs............. he also hasn't fought in over a year.............. somebody please explain how this is a title fight again

Rafael mentioned a few days ago that he saw Rahman recently and he looked in decent shape. I dont know. I would like Rahman to smack that sloppy Povetkin.

Povetkin is there to get hit. I think he can KO him if he's in shape and Povetkin is not.

Yeah, Rahman has a glass jaw/ :patsch

If he had a glass jaw, he'd be KO'd or knocked down all the time. Rahman has an OK chin. Glass? GTFO.

EMM, Rahman's trainer, said he's down in the 250 range. That was back in April/May. I expect him to be in the 240's here.

wasn't it supposed to happen in September? anyway, Pov has to fight Wlad by Feb 2013, otherwise he can kiss that paper-belt of his good-bye :happy

Tenative for Sept. 22nd , love yer avatar Damian david how's your toe.

Povetkin is there to be hit, I can see Rock landing a few good ones before it's all said & done. He'll have to do it early though, no way he lasts more than 7 rounds with his weight issues & inactivity.
