Does Ricky Burns still work in JJB?

I remember I was sitting in the barn amateur gym in coatbridge, talking to Rab Bannon (Ricky's former coach) and a lady came in to pick up her children from their training session. The kids were beginners and the lady started telling Rab how she had been speaking to man who worked in JJB while she was buying her son new gloves, who had told her that he boxed for the barn for about 10 years. The women was shocked when Rab told her that it would have been Ricky Burns she was speaking to

Ricky, obviously very famous in Coatbridge was acting like he was just another laddie that at passed through the Barns' doors.

Well said Billy He is a model pro, not big headed like some, I heard the other day he did an exhibition to help a debutant out, we need these kind of guys in the sport instead of big mouthed wanna be celebs.
