Respect for being a respectful fighter but in no way shape or form does he deserve to be in the hall of fame, isn't even one of the best British fighters.

I agree with your first bit, but the second part I disagree with. Hatton held the 140 title in a weak era and won a paper title at 147. I liked him as a fighter but HOF worthy? Just...no. The HOF should be for fighters who do something amazing, the all time greats, the special ones, the ones who will be remembered and deserve to be immortalised.

you right. Hatton was a face first brawler and a bum. He doesn't even deserve a ticket to attend the HOF ceremony and Pacquiao deserves no credit for that win

You see how me hyping Hatton up for Floyd's benefit makes no sense? :yep

Oh I agree with you, no doubt about it. But com'on, Hatton got knocked out brutally in major fights and fought some good opposition to get his name stamped in his career...... Sly Stallone just made a cool boxing movie and he's in... explain that? :huh

Don't take a whole lot to get in the HOF....

Losing in the biggest fights of your career by shocking KO is another reason why he shouldn't be in.
Stallone isn't in as a fighter though, if he was a fighter he wouldn't be in.

I think so, he was such a huge name, and lesser fighters have made it in. A lot has to be said for how much he meant to UK boxing and fans, popularity is a factor for HOF, and he was one of the more loved fighters for his time I have ever seen. UK fans would have jumped in front of a movie bus for Ricky.
