Does Rios look healthy?

He has already starved himself for a week probaly

If he doesn't move to 140 for his next fight he is a straight up coward afraid to fight the guys in that division.

 

He always look sick, he is a ****** bully and he did hired a nutritionists here come the excuses... And if he is going to kick Abril a$$ anyway please don't bring the weight issue.

 

I agree. He hired a nutritionist but I'm not sure if it was a one fight deal or a long term solution to his weight problem.

 

He has a naturally skeletal facial bone structure as it is.

He could blow up to middleweight in his 30's and have a triple chin, there'd still be a skull (albeit a big fat skull) sitting right atop it. :conf

So don't go by face shape.

His overall musculature looks healthy even if he's on the lean side; the flesh around his eyes isn't taut and he doesn't have that drawn and dehydrated look from pre-Murray.

He's fine. If he somehow loses to Abril, no excuses. But he won't. :good

Rios has worked with Mike Dolce for this cut right ??? , he has a solid track record of getting big guys down healthily , if Rios cannot make it with him !! , he's a LWW :deal

 

Rios last fight was to be his last at 135. They had stated that several times but then got called ouot by Gamboa to fight at 135 and were convinced that a nutritionist would help them. Well find out if it was a smart move to stick around at that weight soon enough.

Rios had never looked as bad as he did at the weigh-in for the Murray fight. But let's see how sickly he looks this time around.

 

ANy fighter that has to starve themselves the last week of a fight did not prepare properly. Sure they do not eat like kings but they do eat. What they actually do is reduce their water weight by sweating and limiting their water consumption. From the look of Rios in those pictures his face does not look tired or stressed out a good sign that he is on target for weight.

 

Rios should have moved to 140.

Rios didn't look healthy at this weigh-in. Same emaciated look, no energy or strength to even talk trash.
