Does Roach see something we don't with Cotto vs Martinez? He did with Pac vs DLH

He sees that Martinez is done. All Cotto has to do is keep it on the inside..

I don't think Cotto wins, but if Martinez comes back at 75% or less.. He just might.

Really it's a good fight for both. Martinez gets to fight a big name, make a good check and a decent comeback fight if he wins. If Cotto wins, $, big name (although old), etc.
It's a win-win for both.

 

Martinez gets jobbed and PBF gets a shot @ Cotto's MW WBC title, then he (PBF) seals his legacy by winning a MW title. Done deal !

 

If Cotto wins I see this happening. Floyd will say that he will fight Cotto at the full MW limit too and all the *****s will go crazy. Cotto can't beat Floyd at any weight, give him a good fight but not beat him. Floyd might even defend once too, against Quillin or Canelo again but at a catchweight of 155 but that is just stretching too far in my part :rofl

 

NOBODY anticipated Pacquiao being heavier than Hoya on fight night. Let's not act like what Pac did was anything special except on paper. Oscar would have gotten his ass handed to him by a lot of WWs that night.

For the OP, I think Cotto will do better than expected, but still lose. Martinez is too strong.

I dont fault cotto or Roach for this matter, Martinez accepted & he is the one who scammed the fans. Cotto & Roach did what was best for them. Cotto is in the drivers seat now & thats because of this fight.

I just hope Cotto & roach do not buy into the "he is a monster". Not saying he is not better but delvin & a hurt Martinez is no indicator he is a new cotto.
