Personally, I feel the only way Roy can win this fight is by KO. Calzaghe is too active for jones to win a decision, like even in his heyday i'd feel this way.

But in his heyday, RJJ would knock the **** out Joe Calzaghe. Does he have the power to do it now? He looked absolutely shot vs trinidad; it looked like he cudve put him away if he had any power.

What do ya'll feel bout it? Ya'll mustve forgot?

UD12 tho...I mean I REALLLLY want RJJ to kick calzaghe's ass but I c no chance of a UD for Roy. JC's 2 active, but do any of u think RJJ could have the power in him (despite like 3 str8 UDs vs limited opponents) to peace calzaghe?

Roy has a chance but not a big one.

True, but Joe didn't look to good his last fight. But Roy knows this is do or die so he will be training his ass off. I really think Jones has one great fight left in him

I think so ..Skill wise he's right in the middle of Hopkins and Kessler .

Ther is still a chance a small one in many people's eyes but he could pull out al of his bag of tricks in this one .

I think Roy isn't as shop worn as people think he is, I think largely coming down all those pounds combined with facing a couple of big hitters in a row really made him look worse than he actually was.

He won't fear being knocked out in one punch against Calzaghe and he'll likely be pushed to perform every round.

I'm 60/40 for Calzaghe but am rooting for Jones Jr.

you just explained perfectly why calzaghe never courted jones in his prime.

Did you take into consideration that the only reason he couldn't KO Tito was due to a torn bicep ?

He admitted after the fight that he couldn't throw his right as ofetn as he wanted too due to the tear so there for he couldn't put Tito away ..Either way it was an entertaining fight ..And though Tito lost he did look strong .

A very good chance I'd say.
I'm going out on a limb here and picking RJJ by UD.

I think it was his left bicep actually, and roy's left hook is really his money punch, traditionally.

His 2 previous fights were UDs as well vs limited opponents and if this goes to a decision i c almost 0% chance of RJJ winning...
