Does Roy have the fastest hands in boxing ?

He still has very fasts hands but not as fast as they were before...Pac is the faster fighter in today's boxing...Gamboa's also very fast...

 

From what I saw last night his hand speed was still there and amazingly fast. He has natural hand speed, something you don't to much from boxers who can throw amazingly fast punches and combos while standing still or feet virtually planted. Only fighters that can basically do that in this day of age as I have seen recently are Judah, Pac, and Berto so I would put him on par with them. And no Money is not one of them, sorry folks.

 

Here's another question:

In history, how many boxers that size threw combos that fast at age 40?

 

Emanuel Stewart said it best during the Hatton-Mayweather when Jim Lampley asked him about his speed compared to Roy Jones and Emanuel said the Mayweather throws combos in like 2-3 punch bunches in which he seen Roy throw them in 10+ bunches and all were accurate and very fast. He said the Mayweather is a great fighter but he has never seen hands as fast as a Prime Roy and he wouldn't dare to put Mayweather on par with Roy Jones. Look it up.

 

He's the fastest above 160 lb without a doubt. I thought I was watching Roy Jones Jr. circa 1998. Unbelievable performance. Definitely his most fan friendly win. I mean 12 punch combos... 6 hooks at one time...

I have not seen the Lacy fight did not get aired here in UK, but Roy in his prime and for his weight was the fastest, i got mad respect for the guy.

 

Yeah last night really did not make no sense how bad he beat up Lacy. And like I stated earlier some of them uppercuts he threw in the first half of the fight should have been banned by boxing. Them things were brutal.
