As the title says, how do you fancy Santa Cruz up against Davis?

if small, shot, one legged gamboa managed to hit davis flush and survive the full fight , i definitely see santa cruz having a chance to win, on points most likely, by frustrating and smothering him.

Well, Gamboa isn´t shot, he is just old.
But funny enough, LSC is taller than Tank  And at this point is at least twice the boxer Gamboa is.

I think Leo´s jab and constant head movement will slow Tank down significantly. This will likely end via decision.

May be Daniel Ponce De Leon vs Adrien Broner all over again. Except LSC is more skilled than DPDL.

If the fight is at 130 with no BS then I give LSC a decent chance, still favour tank but it will be a good fight.

I think tanks stops him, idk how tank’s training is really going but on social media he seems to be focused, I really don’t think we should be underestimating tank this much because of one bad night where he was clearly undertrained

I think he does have a chance, but predict that Davis weights in over and refuses to lose the extra weight.

If LSC fights like he did in the 2nd frampton fight then i think he gets a UD.

That's a paradox mate, like "this sentence is false" or "yesterday I was lying, today I'm telling the truth".

    Honestly, no.

The last time LSC fought a high level boxer is 2-3 years ago against Frampton (or Mares if you consider him to be one). Since then, he only fought third-rate boxer whom he even failed to dominate. He got his super featherweight belt without fighting the real titleholder through dubious process of opponent selection (e.g. Miguel Flores is #178 in boxrec). That's the only time he ever fought in 130 lbs division. Tank Davis, on the other side, is much better and hits harder than any opponent he faced. And I don't expect Tank have the intention to make the (130 lbs) weight. He'll probably pay the penalty and enter the ring as welterweight.

I never like Santa Cruz. But I hope he beware and be cautious in this fight.
