I cannot see how Pascal can be in the running, even if he KOs Hopkins. Have you guys watched Hopkins last two fights?? A close win against overrated Dawson just doesn't cut it.:good

Pacquaio had a good year, but he shouldn't even be close to winning fighter of the year. The Clottey outcome was a foregone conclusion (to me anyway) and the Margarito fight was only a little more interesting because of Margo's size and power. Neither of those guys were legitimate champions or close to being pfp top 10.

Truth is stranger than fiction!! The same people who spent years on ESB heaping dung on Pavlik and/or Williams now want Martinez to be fighter of the year and P4P top 3 because he beat . . . . . . . . . . Pavlik and Williams.

Here's a bit of advice: Engage your ****ing brain before you type!

Or it could be because he beat a good fighter in Pavlik for the lineal Middleweight title and then he avenged a controversial loss to a prime 2 weight world champion who was inside a lot of peoples p4p top 20 lists.

These are better achievements than a deteriorating Margarito (despite the size difference) and a fairly average Clottey.

I still give it to Manny for some reason. He guts the fights out. Wins on guts and courage.

Try not being biased. It also helps if you use your brain. Martinez not only beat Williams and Pavlik. He crucified them. Manny gets my respect for his wins, but I expected him to win those fights easily and he did. Guts had nothing to do with it(even though I didn't expect Clottey to come to lose. ****ing Pathetic.)

Martinez deserves everything he gets. Especially, Fighter of the Year

Seriously. You're ****ing hallucinating or still drunk from last night if u think for a second Sergio takes FOTY from Pac. Margo POUNDED Martinez, loaded gloves or not, and that won't be forgotten.

Give it to Martinez. He needs these awards so he can at least become more Popular before Pac fight him. Pac has too many anyway.

But I'm sure he'll get the Ko of the year. In that case Let's give the FOTY to Pac.

if that's the criteria we're going with then Sergio hands down should be Fighter of the year

yes this is true, but then again .. didn't Shane Mosley beat down and knock out Margarito a year before Pacquiao fought him?

give me a break. Margarito beat down Sergio years ago

I guess you forgot that Mosley whooped Margarito's ass just one year ago .. funny how that never came up
