Does Shane deserver the 'Sugar' title?

In his prime yes. Now? No.

Shane fought with no desire on Saturday.

 

The nickname was never apt.

At lightweight he should have been Shane "Bring the Pain" Mosley. Powerboxing was fun to watch and effective but never a sweet-as-sugar style.

In his last few fights he's earned "Shameful" Shane Mosley.

Mosley was never in the same ballpark as SRR or SRL... mosley is a fake and hes basically knock off sugar..

Basically. After Marg he's done nothing helpful to his legacy except being the person to hit Floyd the hardest in his career though he had his moment in only 1 round(the 2nd).

Both SRL & SRR approved of it so how much confirmation does Shane needs. Yes he's no where close to or has been on their level when they were at their best and even past prime but he deserves the name. Who are we to say he doesn't deserve it if SRL & SRR said he can keep it.

 

Mosley and Robinson have some stylistic similarities. Particularly the way they throw chopping/winging right hands.
