Nop. Some think Mosley is a god because he KO'ed the last 2 people who were coming str8 at him. Bottom line is, he was outboxe before and the best boxer of our generation will outboxe him again.
Its a 60/40 fight in Mayweathers favour IMO. Floyd is a master boxer and will probably get a convincing UD but I wouldn`t rule Mosley out, he is a big welter and probably the best welter Floyd has been in with even though he is a few years past his best. Mosley has a shot and there is no chance he gets stopped.
We're assuming Floyd's the same fighter he was against Hatton. Two years is a very long time for fighter to be inactive and the Marquez fight showed us nothing. It was basically a sparring session with how big Floyd was compared to his opponent. Plus, Shane brings a lot more speed and lot more power to the fight. He's murderous with his right, effective with his left hook to the body and head, showed a good jab against Margarito and has a trainer who will have a strategy for every eventuality. He's got a shot, but it will be tough. Shane is fast enough to get to Floyd early on when the Pretty Boy's still measuring Sugar. He needs to take his chances early and land eye-catching shots. He needs to work in close in the middle rounds and then bully Floyd against the ropes to get to the body. I expect Floyd will win the middle rounds until Mosley adjusts to the different look Mayweather will present him with. Shane always finished well, so those rounds will probably be crucial. But if Shane can't do good work early, he's going to lose.
It depends on whether Mayweather engages or potshots. If Mayweather have a safety first mentality, then Mosley nwill lose 100 per cent. I don't think Mosley has the mobility to be playing catch with Mayweather for 12 rounds. I don't believe that Mosey has a very good cutting technique. However, if Mayweather would try to force the fight, Mosley will definitely win. Mayweather's punches would not even tickle Mosley,. Mayweather has respectable power at lower weights but against a fighter who would weigh close to middleweight at fight time, and a fighter who fought way bigger punchers and bigger fighters without being KOed, I doubt that Mayweather's power would be a big factor.
As real as it gets. Floyd took some time off, came back to compete technically and physically witha 142 pounder, b4 he had a hard time with a rushing small man in Hatton, he definitely gonna struggle against Mosley. I expect mayweather to wear his virtuoso self that night and try to box safe and with style but it's gonna be difficult to outclass a top class solid welterweight like Shane, he's not in there with Baldomir or a washed-up Hoya so he's gonna have to go deep into this one, Of course Shane has a big shot.
Mosley definitely has a shot. This is a game, hall of fame fighter. Mosley has a *wingspan* advantage, not necessarily a reach advantage. Wingspan is measured from fingertip to fingertip across the chest. HBO's method of measuring reach has been from the armpit to the end of the fist, and in this measurement it is revealed that Floyd actually has longer arms than Shane(26 in - 24 in). Shane has a 74 in to 72 in *wingspan* "advantage" over Floyd due to a broader chest and perhaps longer fingers.... Armpit to the end of the fist seems the more accurate depiction of reach, and whats funny is that Shane is walking around under the impression that he has the advantage in this area. I guess he'll find out on fight night what it really is.
