Frank didn't have the greatest chin and Cooper could hit like a hammer. His punches turned Mercer into an extra from a zombie movie. I'd definitely give him a good shot against Bruno.
The guy that fought Commander Vander & Mercer is not the version you'd want Frank in the ring with. Can you picture Bruno instead of those guys in those tremendous exchanges?
Hi Buddy. I am somewhat undecided on Bruno and his " chin " on one level, yes he had a weak chin, but on closer inspection it was his lack of stamina , and his gassing late in fights that could be mistaken for a suspect chin, he has taken some wallops from Lewis, McCall, Witherspoon ( early in the fight ) and withstood them, so it leaves me slightly baffled, as to Cooper beating him, yes I think he has a good chance, my feeling is Bert would be too persistent, put pressure on Bruno, and manage to avoid his right, and you are in with a chance imo. stay safe BCS8, always keep an eye out for your posts. I think Bruno jab and hard right win the fight, but I don't rule out Bert. If he comes in as he did against Holyfield and Moorer, then it could really Go his way. Scrappy under dog.
Yes. I think Bert Cooper would have a “ chance “ against Frank Bruno. Not sure if he should be favored but I can see him giving Frank hell. Incidentally this might have been one hell of a good fight.
Good chance, but keep in mind that Cooper's worst enemy was a big, long, strong jab. Even a good version of Bert (Moorer, Mercer, Evander) would still likely lose to Bruno. The power pole jab would take all of Cooper's chances at a win away.
Possibly but Frank's jab would do a lot of damage. A similar fight to the truth but with Cooper getting sparked .
