If anybody that watch Clouds fight last night just proved my point that Cloud fight exactly like Lacy in which Cloud always look for a knockout earlier on but keep leaves himself open to get hit easily. <<<<Just like a prime Lacy does.
I think there is some truth to that. Lacy also looked like he had fast hands pre-Calzaghe. Cloud got hit quite a bit easily against an aging Woods. Imagine if he fought someone slick who can counter effectively? Cloud definitely needs to work on his defense. No head movement. Doesn't keep gloves up high. He can be hit. And yeah, like Lacy, he relies on his power to overwhelm people. It's working now but again, what if he fights someone slick who can counter? Only time will tell.
Man please you just insult to a future hall of famer. Toney shoulder roll is one of the best. Cloud is nothing and i mean nothing like Toney with those shoulder rolls.
Exactly, I sort of laughed everytime I saw him trying to roll the shoulder and land the right counter. I think he is more talented than Lacy, he just needs to fight more and get a better trainer.
He has a much more varied punch output and is a bit more defensively aware. I think Cloud is a vulnerable fighter, but I would say he's a little less one-dimensional than Lacy. I'd like to see if he can fight going backwards one of these days.
Cloud fights absolutely nothing like Lacy, that's ******ed. Cloud showed last night alone that he has a more complete offensive arsenal than Lacy did at his peak (which we'll call 2003-2005). And despite some defensive liabilities, he's superior there as well.
