    Interestingly enough I think most, if not all of those fit. It could just be though that's how I've grown to know them.

    Carl "The Cobra" Froch - people say he fights like a snake the way he moves etc. but i dunno if i'm convinced

    Carl the bulldozer Froch seems more appropriate than Carl the Cobra Froch to me.

    I think in the majority of cases, fighters are simply trying to pick a nickname that sounds cathcy, and matches up with their real name. i don't think they try to put a whole lot of emphasis on choosing an alias that defines exactly how they fight.
