Pedroza was a lanky and vulnerable bantamweight.

Saensak Muangsurin was knocked out by an average puncher, Sang-Hyun Kim, admittedly after being battered for 13 rounds.

It happens. Not 'official' really but Marlon Starking had a great chin and was a great defensive fighter, and Molinares, hardly known but only known for his power, turned the trick. He shut Starling's lights out whatever the circumstances and, looking at it, it wasn't a sucker punch was it?

That was a weird one. But usually the chins do beat the hitters. Usually they do not like matching the hitters with elite chins so you really don't have a lot of examples anyway. And then have to go way back to like Pedroza or that Valdez fight mentioned.

Emile Griiffith getting stopped in one by Hurricane Carter fits the bill. Griffith had a very, very sturdy chin but he got caught cold and couldn't recover against a way lesser fighter, all be it a lesser fighter with top shelf power.
