You can put your moral value BS in the argument all you want but the fact is as a boxer, Floyd is very respected by boxers and writers alike and will go down in history as an ATG. I don't think anyone argues Floyd is made of snips and snails and puppy dog tails.

who exactly is the boxing world? ive been a boxing fan for over 40 years and i think mayweather is the lowest form of human being. i can compliment him, like i would a game dog or a fast thoroughbred, for his success at the highest levels of competition, but im not going to pretend that the rest doesnt matter because someone thinks its more important to be a fan of boxing than it is to be a man. i think he is mentally and emotionally underdeveloped and my father would be ashamed of me if i behaved like him, as his father before him.

People are so obsessed with Floyd it's ****ing sad. Moral this, moral that. How about this: be the grown man you claim to be and stop complaining online like a gossiping teenage girl.

People respect Floyd's career, that's about as far as it goes. Complimenting his skills doesn't mean you want to be like him or that you condone his actions.

one of the most unbiased and factual commentaries ive ever seen from a floyd fan. Floyd is cringeworthy to listen to. He never has anything of importance to say.

Probably the greatest defensive boxer of all time. It's a shame that this guy could have elevated himself as maybe the greatest of all time but instead, he cherrypicked names that looks good on a record but that are past their prime. He fought no one in his prime. Plain and simple. Plus the diva is made of pure hypocrisy when he says that he wants to clean up the sport. During this time, he worked with Heredia and received an illegal and highly suspicious IV treatment. Enough said.

Slowly but surely, boxing is coming back on the right track after the mess Mayweather created. Canelo took some notes for sure...

If he'd gone through his career FAIRLY he could be respected But he didn't HE CHEATED!! The State Commission KNEW he cheated but refused to investigate. Imagine if the Feds had investigated Vegas would be bankrupt

And if you think about it he ended his career by ducking a fight with Brook and instead fighting Berto. Brook was the only other guy with a belt and he couldve set up a big final fight to go on but chose not too.
