I'm excited about the Bute v Pascal fight I think its a really really good fight but has the addition of this to the Box Office PPV made the PPV more acceptable? Or is it an admission from Sky and Matchroom that the Froch v Kessler undercard isn't PPV standard?

Also would people prefer a stronger undercard for Froch v Kessler and no Bute v Pascal fight or are people happy with a poorer undercard but the chance to see Bute v Pascal plus the undercard from Canada?

I like the fact Sky have picked the fight up but I also think its an easy cop out from producing a quality undercard for the Froch v Kessler undercard.

Why not just keep this to the other thread that you started on the subject?

I think it's a cop out but at least they have got this fight for the PPV buyer. Doesn't help this going live though. People who have tickets don't get a proper undercard because of the champions league final I reckon and don't get to see that eithe but oh joy we get Bellew-Chillemba instead. Oh well at least the Haye bill looks good.

  4. Of course it's improved it if it's only available to ppv viewers

Forget everything that's happened about this event and the facts are for your money you get

    Froch v Kessler
    Bute v pascal
    Groves v uruguayan dude
    Bellew v chilemba
    Ochieng v kaddour contender dude
And undercard from Canada which in past havnt been bad
    Plus some Hearn prospects

That ain't bad we have had much worse

    Champions League Final
    Froch Kessler
    Pascal Bute
Good nights viewing, worth 15 pounds.

Fact is, if it wasnt PPV, the Froch fight couldnt have happened so if youre amped for this particular fight, you cant really complain about paying for it.

Suppose it doesn't help with the fact that Hearn has been bigging up how great the Haye undercard is gonna be over the last week. And I have to say I'm looking forward to Rees-Crolla more than anything on the Froch ppv undercard. I'm warming to Bellew-Chilemba II a bit more though, especially when you consider how important this fight is shaping up to be for Bellew. He can't repeat the last effort surely.

But with it being a ppv show, when Groves was slated to be on this bill for some time it doesn't come across very well when he gets a mediocre opponent

Sill needs a stronger UK undercard to justify the PPV!

Bute vs Pascal is a great addition but still need a few good domestic scraps to make me fork out. Otherwise I'll just stick two fingers up and watch a stream.

Better then most ppvs of the past, but this was an oppatunity to set the bar higher.Hearn should of put on a chief support fight that would look good to the casuals and provide plenty of action,Bellew-Chilemba doesn`t really cut it but who knows it could suprise us and you never know Groves could get reckless with his opponent and provide a fun fight.

It's still not there yet, although with the addition of Bute-Pascal I'd say the show is probably one real good fight short of being ppv worthy. Before he was called up to face Alexander I was thinking that something like Purdy-Vassell II would be ideal. Not really sure what fight of a similar standard Eddie could come up with at this late stage now though.

Your missing the target audience is casual fans who be watching champions league before boxing! Boxing needs to appeal to more than casual fans! Magnificent 7 great for hardcore casuals hardly bought it and it tanked as no fighters were known!
