To deal with Mayweathers speed should they fight.

The last two fights shows that Cotto has dealt with fighters with comparable (maybe even better) hand speed than Mayweather.

Of course, Mayweather has other strengths that Judah and Mosley lack.

    Every fighter is different.

No way. Zab is ****. Nothing from that fight will help Cotto, nothing.

Sort of BUT Judah didnt throw any punches. Cotto did well timing his shots against the faster Mosley (despite imo losing). But Mosley and Cotto aren't Floyd Mayweather. They don't have the defense, timing, footwork, stamina of Mayweather despite their comparable hand speed

YES!! In terms of "timing". He'll be able to avoid some of Floyds punches if Floyd isn't setting them up....but speed is not the only factor or the MAIN factor that Cotto has to worry about. It's only on part to this puzzle that Cotto has to put together. Floyd's reflexes and counter punching ability is the attribute that will be the biggest problem for Cotto......Along with that comes the oustanding Defense Floyd seems to have like a sixth sense. Speed will be icing on the cake.

haha! True...but Baldo's style is to take punishement to give his own. Cotto doesn't like to be hit. But that is gonna happen if he faces Floyd.

Well Judahs straight left and Mosleys overhand right were coming at him just about as quick as anything Mayweather would throw at him. Too bad he was getting smacked with those almost every time  The difference with Floyd is that he is alot more accurate and can really mix up his shots better then the other two. He would beat Cotto IMHO.
