Does the Garcia vs Mattysse Winner Deserve Floyd Next

    Of course this thread is based on the upset not happening tonight

    On sportscenter they said Canelo is the last threat but to be honest if Lucas were to demolish Garcia in 3 or 4 rounds like he did vs Petersen Id consider him a threat to Floyd

    I also think if Garcia was to clearly end Mattysses run he would be a serious and sellable threat

    When Danny wins he deserves it. If Bradley beats Marquez he deserves it first but he is with Top Rank so that isn't happening.

    I think that after this fight Floyd can fight whoever he wants and pack the house plus get 1.3 million ppv. He gets past Canelo then the last 3 fights are just a going away gift to the fans.

    If Garcia wins and Floyd wins then that fight will for sure happen in May. Schaeffer is salivating already at the prospect of a buildup and 24/7 with Angel Garcia

    Why do you think Devon Alexander and Amir Khan hasn't been signed yet. Alexanders team have dragged out the negotiating 4 months just so they can see the result of tonights fight. If Matthyse wins they know they have a chance of a May date, if not it will be 1 year. It's a tough division and having to have 1 more fight between this one and your chance at mayweather is a big risk.

    I think if floyd puts on a dominating performance, he should just retire, there really is no one left. I don't think he will put on a dominating performance though, I seriously think canelo is one of the better opponents he has faced and potentially the best.

    yes of course they do, after pacquiao there are no big money fights out there for floyd if he beats canelo besides maybe the winner of matthyse garcia who should likely shoot into super stardom with a win tomorrow

    There isn't alot out there for Floyd next, Alexander vs Khan winner will happen IMO if not next the fight after, hopefully Khan because Alexander is dog ****.

    Frankly I would rather see the winner of Garcia /Mathysse go against Broner first. Assuming he gets past Maidana.
