Does the General Forum grind anyone else here down sometimes?

I made a joke after the Pav/Hop fight about Chad Dawson being the new guy who Joe would be ducking and like clockwork, those threads have started.

I find myself coming in to the Brit forum just for the fact it's good for the soul and saves me getting too wound up sometimes. Pavlik is just the next in line to have gone from hero to zero in one fight.

Yep, I have to be in a certain "mood" to post on the GF. I find I have to mentally change gears when I post on here after being on the GF, it's easy to get dragged into all the aggression and name calling that goes on there but doesn't happen here.

At least when it does take place here, we appreciate it and do it properly.

Yes, it's a strange shift in mentality you need when switching forums. I tend to post in the general forum just before and after a big international fight like the Hopkins one but I never last long.

It's like reading youtube comments sometimes.

Most of the time its like a wrestling forum on there with the overuse of "exposed", "shot", and the endless ****ing p4p lists...it is full of twats, probably kids, with absolutely no sense of humour. The Haye - Klit threads are generally good for a laugh though with endless possibilities for bother causing :hey

The General forum is full of trolls, hypocrites and imbeciles.

Spinsters, haters and revisionists....they are all there in one big melting point of bull****.

Yeah, the general forum is hard work. I frequently find myself outwitted after having spent a period of time conversing with the numpties in the British forum.

I found out today on the general forum that Hopkins apparently only lost to Calzaghe cos he didn't choose to throw as many punches as he did against Pavlik, even though he could have if he'd wanted to. Anyone who disagrees needed to show proof and is an idiot.

Yeah, the general forum can be frustrating!
