I just don't get why everyone is so partisan when it comes to fighters and all the 'nuthugging' this and 'nuthugging' that. It clouds judgement and means most threads are completely devoid of good debate.

 

you have got to have the patience of a mental health therapist to post in there nowadays. there are so many loons creating really stupid threads.

there is more sanity in a nuthouse than on the general forum

Some poster called San Rafael, although I believe he was giving it the old "tongue in cheek" treatment by and large.

The one I enjoyed the most recently was the "Bernard Hopkins - Now No.1 of All-Time" thread, total bollocks. Then all the deluded tits began to put on their all-time P-4-P lists, one of which had Sugar Ray Leonard 1st....and 8th...on the same list. Bravo.

There are some really good posters on the GF, but overall the percentage split of muppet to decent poster is about 95%-5%. I would say The Brit Forum split is about 30%-70%.

 

I think that's pretty much it. It's the most popular boxing forum on ESB, naturally, and therefore attracts the widest variety...which therefore includes a lot of keyboard warriors and the immature. It's the go-to place for fight hype and instant reactions, which makes it so volatile at times.

Still a lot of good guys there, though.

 

most of the people i just ignore but there arre some very good posters who really know they ****.
the only prob with the british forum is it is a bit to slow for me i check it all the time and post when there is a thread that interests me but they come around once a week.

i am spending more time in the lounge now though.

I don't post that much in there, but some of the threads are amusing just to read.

Good place to go when the Brit Forum is quiet or the ******os in the GF are going bonkers.
